These pancakes are very rich in protein and low in calories!

Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 1 can (185g) of tuna drained.
  • 1 Egg
  • Onions and green onions (chopped) combined to make 1/4 cup
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
Directions:
  1. Whisk egg in a bowl.
  2. Add in salt, pepper, sesame oil, plain flour and whisk to combine.
  3. Add in tuna, onions and green onions and combine well.
  4. Heat up a pan with 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
  5. Scoop up some of the mixture in a tablespoon into the pan.
  6. Press lightly on the mixture.
  7. Repeat with the rest of the mixture, this mixture will make 6 tuna pancakes.
  8. Fry until both sides are golden brown.
  9. Remove from heat and serve.
  10. Goes nicely with a chilli sauce dip :)
Delicious!

That is roughly 36g of protein and 200 kcal in total and I'm just counting the contents of the tuna and the egg! Adding the rest of the ingredients its slightly more than 36g of protein and 250kcal in total!

Which is
6g+ of protein
45kcal
per tuna pancake!

For all my fat losing, muscle building friends, eat away! ;D
